The Pinergy Wave Shaper can create infinite combinations of waves by varying the swell height, amplitude, and frequency of the waves.

There are two parts that comprise this system; one is a swell generator and the other is the break, or the artificial reef. The principles that drive these two components is identical, but the application of the energy to each component is vastly different.

For the swell generator, we will have a rolling wave of energy that will push the water unattenuated towards the break. The break can be preset or even tuned in real time to make the perfect wave every time. We can also aim the swell from virtually any direction, much like a pool player lines up a cue ball to a pool ball. The aim that is used provides the energy, the cue ball represents the swell generator, and the pool ball represents the break or artificial reef.
